The Te Ahikawariki Spring Summit is back on Thursday 17 September 2026, bringing growers, researchers and industry together at our Pukekohe Research and Demonstration Farm for another day of research extension, practical insights and in-field demonstrations.
This year’s programme covers a broad range of topics relevant to commercial vegetable production, with speakers from across research and industry sharing current work, results and practical knowledge.
Topics throughout the day will include potato early blight, integrated weed management, adjuvant crop safety, soil-borne disease, onion nutrition, integrated pest management (IPM), Fall Armyworm control and the latest vegetable research.
We will also be heading out on farm for practical demonstrations, giving attendees the opportunity to see research and technology in the field, ask questions and discuss how the work could translate into commercial growing systems.
Spring Summit is open to growers and others across the vegetable industry interested in seeing and discussing current research and development.
